Sore throat wont go away? its so annoying?

so on sunday i could feel it in my throat i was getting sick. later that night i had the chills and came down with a fever and had a headache and was dizzy. the next day i was still feeling the same way. on tuesday all my fever and headaches were gone but i still had a sore throat. i looked at my throat with a flash lights and there are two white spots in the back of my throat only on the left side, and red bumps far back on my tongue where my tongue touches the sore on my throat. wednesday, i still had it and went for a jog and it helped my throat a lot. ive been taking a lot of pain killers and throat drops and gargling with salt water everyday and i cant seem to kick it. ive been drinking a lot of fluids also. today, thursday i woke up with a stupid cold sore on my lip and bump on the roof of my mouth along with this sore throat. its not a horrible pain, because i have had a worse sore throat but it wont go away right now. can chewing tobacco relate with this? what should i do?
