What complications have you had dating a single parent?

First off I don't have any children, but the guy I'm dating is. Not trying to be rude, but I prefer to date someone that's childless. However, I've never had a any success. Anyway, the guy I'm dating now has two beautiful children 8 and 3 years old. He is a great father and a very hard worker. I used to work with him about 7 years ago. The thing is every time we go out he is sooooooooooo tired because he has a very strenuous job, he fixes roofs. Then he has to tend to his children. I tell him if he's that tired he could cancel our dates. He says no that he likes my company. I really really like this guy and I understand his children come first. We've only been seeing each other for about a month, but I wonder will he even have enough time for me. I remember he once told me to not have children until my late 30's. We see each other about once a week. BTW, we're both in our late 20's.
