How long is it gonna take ...?

this guy broke up with his GF cuz she started drinkin&smoking thinking that'd make her cool. he likes me too since 1 month and i dunno'.i told him i like him, but i don't see anything happening plus i'm trying to give him some space(and it's hard as hell not seeing him) he's really pissed at her but also trying to be friends with her while she's trying to make him feel bad. i know from his best frnd that he wants to be with me but not NOW. getting over his ex..i wonder how long is it going to take..we've talked one evening about stuff and then i tried to bring a word about the time i told him i liked him and that i'd like talking but when he wants and if..i'm still gonna be there..he smiled deeply and changed the subject..damn!
