My husband had bladder cancer, they removed his entire bladder ?

He now has bone cancer.. & is in a lot of pain. what is his life expectancy. radiation & chemotherapy has not been done yet, due to not knowing he had bone cancer.. test kept coming back that everything was ok.. an infection was covering up the cancer.. not sure what happen but he has been in pain for 6-8 months w/no treatment..
