Do you think it's an omen or a coincidence?

A mine company has invaded a people's land and their dangerous chemicals are threathening the vital wildlife in the creeks. The people protested against the mine citing that they need the fish to survive their way of life. But the mine company goes on. A guy died working at the mine by falling when a big gust of wind pushed him off the building they were working on. A car crash of miners injures a couple. And couple nights ago there was a fire at a place a few of the miners were staying; one died in the fire, the second one who is at a Seattle burn center is not expected to live, and they are looking for the third body.
