What are uses of coordination complexes?

Many are used as catalysts for other reactions. I have used titanium chloride complexes in polymerization reactions. However, the two most important metal complexes would be hemoglobin, a coordination complex of iron, and chlorophyll, a coordination complex of magnesium. We would not be alive without these two complexes of course.
