PSN account deactiviation?

i had a 60gb PS3 that had Ylod. i had an account on there which i used for purchasing my map packs, games etc. I gave that account pord and email to some friends of mine that wanted to buy some of the new CoD maps/download some games. I've traded that 60gb PS3 in now and bought two new ones. now when i try to download something, even though its free!? (it was the infamous giga watt power game add on thing), it says that ive reached the maximum limit PS3's that are linked to this account.. another problem i have is, i dont remember if my friends traded in their Ps3's and got new ones. does anyone reckon that sony will help me deactivate the accounts on the other PS3's if i call them?? pls help
