Ok, is it the Alternator? In Detail, it wants to stall at idle, i rev it up, it hesitates then drives. What...?

Let me start out by saying if your alternator is'nt puting out 12 volts your car wont run smooth plus it will have a bad miss, for as your car getting hot , you need to have the timing check out and make sure that th plug wires are on the right nipple on the distriburtor, just make sure the plug wire did'nt get crossed up or the will cause the engine to run hot and have a bad miss.
