Do cork floor protectors allow chairs to slide? ?

We were tired of felt floor protectors collecting dog hair. I bought "Gripper Pads". They don't collect dog hair, but they truly grip the floor - we have to pick up the stools to scoot them back. I see cork "dots" (floor protectors) on the internet, but I want to know more about them before I place an order. Do they allows chairs to slide, or do they also grip the floor?
